Actually I am just bored at the moment. I've put my ageing VW golf in for a service at the moment and decided to walk down to the local library while I wait for the mechanics verdict. I'm hoping there is nothing seriously wrong with the car. I certainly don't have any problems whilst driving it. I took a hoover to the floor of the car this morning I stopped after about five minutes of hoovering as smoke was coming out of the bottom of the hoover!
I noticed that my favourites list that used to be 18 diarists long has now shrunk considerably. Sure it saves me time but I no longer have contact with certain people whose diaries' have been marked with the red strikethrough of death. Sad but thats life. Still some of the departed still have contact with me which is good.
Still searching for a job. I'm having to wait for someone to cancel a test at the moment to get another shot at the bus test. Although with some of the drivers around here I'm starting to doubt driving is a good idea. Yesterday I reversed out of my driveway to do the usual L turn when I look up and notice a white van hurtling towards me. Now our residential streets have a limit of 20 mph. He must of been doing 35 at least, he didn't leave me enough space either to turn. I met another van at the end of my cul-de-sac. He was obviously looking for an address. As soon as he noticed me he moved and waved to say "Thanks." Why can't we have more van drivers who are sensible?
The mrs is stuffed with cold at the moment. She doesn't look to good either. Hopefully I will have the car back by the time she finishes work tonight so I can pick her up. I think I am starting to get as well, just not so severely.
I bought 2 packs of those new walkers flavoured crisps. I tried cajun squirrel last night. I was a bit disappointed as to me it just tasted like beef crisps, however I have never eaten a squirrel so have no idea what they taste like!
