Walked the mrs to the bus stop (I don't know why it must be contractual!). After which I took the dog for a walk, he's had an upset stomach for the last couple of days but he seemed fine today. Phoned the dentist to make an hygienist appointment for the mrs. Expecting to be told no we haven't got one for months. However they shocked me and said 2.20 on Wednesday!
Going to phone up bus man later and get booked in for next week. Need some readies coming in shortly I think.
Walked out to car and thought "Gee I've only had to wait til January the 19th for proper snow." Despite it being cold enough to freeze the car on various occasions.
Now at the library trying to download some patches for civ 4 here but their computers aren't liking it.
I've requested the second book in the law trilogy which was in December. I was told I wouldn't get it until the new year but now it looks like February until I get it. I've just finished reading my first autobiography it was Peter Kay's The Sound Of Laughter. I didn't really enjoy it. I think it would of been better if he'd made it into a tv show or film. It just doesn't have the same appeal without his comic delivery.
Oh hang my downloads just gone no again..............(sigh) click.
Anyone know how long a 45MB patch would take on a supposedly 10GB connection?
Thankyou Amy for the game suggestions, I'll run a few past the mrs. I played Professor Layton in GAME and Toys'r'Us she looked at it and thought she would enjoy it too.
Aha I've been turned down to be a train driver trainee lol. Ahh well it was worth a shot. Oh and they've fixed my friends reunited thing profile too. Joy! Ahh Simon I remember him and Rya.........oh yeah Anna's friend who hardly ever talked to me lol. They both left me messages. Well it's more of a hand saying I stopped by but you know it's the thought that counts.
Random task: What's the worst film or book you've actually had the patience to read or sit through?
My worst book is a tie between David Peace's Tokyo Year Zero and Boudica (it's spelt and pronounced Boudicea bloody Americanisations!) by Mandy Scott.
