No update from me for nearly a month. Didn't think it was that bad!
Nothing has been going on really. Oh I finally got my money back from the garage that I originally bought the car off. They've actually paid me more than they were due but that's the.....................well brakes!
I've cancelled my subscription to a Nintendo mag I get, I was paying 12p extra a year to get it delivered late or not at all. Since I work in Asda I thought I'd just buy it instead. What really got me was I couldn't email my cancellation, nor phone, no I had to write. Which I did, plus cancelled my direct debit from the bank. What do I get in response? AN EMAIL! This from a company that wants to written to. I'm ignoring it. It basically says "Oh, we can't get our money YOU must of made a mistake. We're sure it's an admin error please confirm so we can correct."
Here is what I say to myfavouitemagazines.com
Dear Sir/Madam/Arrogant person
I have not made a mistake in cancelling my direct debit. I have cancelled my subscription to the magazine as I am paying extra for the privelege of having it delivered a week after it's on the shelves. If I receive my magazine at all. Quite frankly your call centre team are always professional and their customer service is good, so I wish them all the luck in the world at their new positions, as they are wasted with you.
If you insist on me writing to cancel my subscription, then don't disregard my letter on the matter. And then you have the DAMNED CHEEK to EMAIL me. After telling me I can't cancel my subscription via email. If you wish communication via post stick to it.
Yours Unfaithfully
Mr Ellis
P.S I'm sending this in an email, read it or not I don't care. Oh by the way I work in a supermarket so I know when it hits the shelves. SO peddling that load of crap to your call centre team about embargoed information really doesn't fly.
It's been a busy weekend today. Visited a prehistoric burial mound and I've been on canal boat trip. Then walked along the union canal for a bit.
