Had a long weekend as it was a weekend off due to trainees. Monday off due to a bank holiday and I swapped my Wed off for a Tuesday.
Got another service trainee signed off and sent away. Finally going to get myself set up and trained on home shopping soon. As I start getting those section leaders in July (end of). Work still haven't ok'ed my holiday next month. So I'm hoping I get a yes soon so I can book all the logistics of travelling down South. It's a trip I've done many times and always look forward to.
World Cup kicks off tomorrow. Of course being in Scotland there's a few grumbles. Mainly because the media always harks back to 1966 (The last time the English won the world cup). I'd like them to win it so they could shut up about '66. There are even a few items in the shop with St Georges flags on rather than the St Andrews cross. Me personally, I think of myself as British first anyway.
Nothing much else to say really, apart from the weather has been awful recently. But Mr Sun has come back today, so here's hoping he is with us for the whole weekend.
