Had a week off (well Mon to Friday) as the house inspection should be imminent we've been busy little beavers. Not that the house is dirty or a pit or anything just cleaning those areas that get forgotten. PLus things like changing the shower curtain and bathmat.
Walked in to town on the Friday and pointed out to the mrs that the mobile library should be in Haldanes car park. I went and looked and it wasn't there, or in the road you can't miss something that looks like the hideous lovechild of a bus and a milk float. Our local library is closed for refurbishment until March which is rubbish. I just hope they are making it bigger and not just putting more computers in!
Saturday: Worked 10 til 8. I say worked I got shoved in the car park for the whole day bar 2 hours when I had to work on the cigarette kiosk. As a manager had got stuck on there. They didn't have anyone to take over from them!
Sunday: Last day on the checkouts official. And what a bloody shambles it was. No change in the tills, no checkout manager. Jenna's (post office manager) face lit up and she asked me if I could work a checkout to which I said yes. As I was meant to be doing that anyway! Thus ended my last official checkout shift.
I'm now being trained on the customer service desk, self scan tills and checkout support as well as lottery. Most of which I had done before with Tesco so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to learn it all again!

nah this was worse than bitchy, it turned racist and religion was involved. I walked out and found management as i wasnt putting up with that.
It must be nice having done the majority of all the new bits before so no throwing you in at the deep end.
