Monday: Finally. Confirmation of my new role at work and that I start on the 18th of January. There'll be one other person in the same position as me so although I have worked with him before I don't know him that well.
Tuesday: Walked the wife to the bus stop then went and sat on my bum. Played the Wii for a bit. Getting dangerously back into MarioKart again. I'll get those damn star rankings and Dry Bowser yet! Played Cursed Mountain and Dead Space Extraction til I got stuck or bored in both. It adds to the atmosphere in the morning when everyone is out!
Wednesday and Thursday: Back at work. Nothing interesting.
Friday: Day off and get told that the Mrs has taken today and next week as holiday. So I have an extra day with the mrs.
Saturday & Sunday: Back at work same old. Shelagh is still calling me William despite the fact I'm wearing a name badge. Lana tries to annoy me (I always have a book to read on my breaks) by shouting out: "Do you read that when you're having sex"
I reply "I'm married, I don't have sex!"
This confused her but made everyone else at the table crack up. I can't be bothered not having a laugh life is depressing enough as it is.
Having a week off (well til Saturday) to celebrate getting full time then it's nose to the grindstone again for a while.
