Stressed and freaking out, trying not to break down

Jon has to shave his beard for his new job. I wanted him to keep a goatee, which is allowed, but he wants to appear in complete compliance with their request and said that after he gets established he'll ask if they mind him growing the goatee for me. I don't really know why it's bothering me so much but I'm in tears and it's really upsetting him, but he needs the job and he has to do it.

it will be okay, my hubs saves his from time to time but he grows it back.

we will adjust, yes, but I think it's more that we both like him in a beard, but he desperately needs this job and it's a requirement so he had to do it.
