My favorite cruelty free cosmetic brands and products

01/27/2014

The following is a list of my favorite cruelty-free (non-animal tested) cosmetic brands and products that make me look more, uh, put together. This is mainly for my own reference because there are a decent amount of companies and products that I just love and want to keep track of. My criteria for CF is a) they must NOT be owned by a parent company that tests, b) there's to be NO third party testing by suppliers on their behalf, and c) they must NOT sell in China due to animal testing being deemed mandatory in order to sell there. I like shopping with a clear conscience. I don't like to preach, but personally animal testing for cosmetics this day and age is an unnecessary cruelty because we already know these products are safe for us; it's an archaic practice. This year I decided enough is enough and am fully committing to being CF with cosmetics. I am very glad I made this commitment! Seeing all of these brands and amazing products definitely makes it easier!

NOTE: "N/A" means that I am still on the hunt or haven't tried anything yet. I still use the products I already purchased before I became CF or the company sold out because I don't believe in waste. It benefits no one to throw away products, especially me. And besides, they already have my $$$, making it pointless. I still need to work through some products first.
Also, if it is just a brand name and not a specific product, it basically means I love all of their products in their respective areas as a whole. I love all of these brands, but I feel they shine more in certain categories, hence breaking them into such. Lol.

Anyway, on to my list, which will be updated as needed. ♥
