another lesson learned
Well well well...here it goes with another entry. This past week wasn't all that bad, but it was definitly stressful. I had 3 job interviews Wednesday/Thursday, I'm still waiting to hear from 2 of them. I had a few rough patches on my end with my boyfriend, but its whatever. Actually I think I'm going to just go into part of what was going through my head...

Why is it that when I find something that actually works for me and makes me one of the happiest people in the world, the person I'm with goes out to do something that he has done before, and yet the past creeps up on me? It's not even something actually happening, its just my mind telling me that the past is going to repeat itself. I absolutely hate it. My past with men hasn't been the best and I always assume that they will use you for one thing and then they leave you. But this one is different and I know it. I know he isn't going to leave me and this isn't going to turn out like everything else has, I guess it is just my over active imagination.

I also reconnected with an old friend this past weekend. I had so much fun and I'm really glad we got to see each other. Plus, Sunday was Easter so I got to spend time with family and friends and eat a ton of great food...at 4 different houses. But I guess 4 is better than 5, which is what I had for Christmas haha. We (my boyfriend and I) managed to cut out one house from Christmas to Easter. But even though we had a lot of places to go and a lot of family to see, we had such a great time.

But now on to what caused me to write this entry...

I live with my aunt, my 17-year-old cousin Kathryn, and my 14-year-old cousin John. When I first moved in, I started bringing around my friend Dylan. Although I was against it at first, Kathryn and Dylan started dating. I had heard a few stories from him about our old high school rowing team and just about some things that had happened. I remembered most of them but there was one where the names were fuzzy. Once I started dating my boyfriend, I realized why they were fuzzy. Turns out they had had an incident back in high school and now neither one really sees eye to eye with the other one. Well today, neither Kathryn nor I had seen our boyfriends. But apparently they had seen each other. From what I was told, they saw each other and my boyfriend told Dylan to F*** off multiple times. Now, when I started dating my boyfriend, he knew I was friends with him and I was told he would be nice. But when he is out with his friends I can't stop him from what he says or does to him. However, he had to know that it would get back to me in some way/shape/form. So whether it was because one of his friends was there or not, there was still no reason for it. Now I have to be the one to smooth things over just so we can have some sort of peace between them when they are here. I can't wait to talk to my boyfriend tomorrow *end sarcasm*. I can guarantee that he will shoot back with some smartass comments that I'm just going to have to shoot down because I am still friends with Dylan and that isn't going to change anytime soon. *sigh*

Well that about ends that rant. Currently I'm sitting on the computer at 12:05 in the morning while my aunt watches tv way too loud...but I don't mind, it is really comforting. I am actually suprised, I am more tired than I thought I would be. So that being said, I think I'm going to call it a night.

Goodnight all!
