Get ready to have “First World Problems Hashtag Hashtag Hashtag!!!!” screamed in your face!!
I'm almost ashamed that I'm going to write this entry - but not quite.
This morning I slaved over a text to someone just to get a one word reply!! I'm talking about the kind of texts where I had to close my eyes and hold the phone away from my physicality as I pushed “send” so that I can’t stop myself from sending it. That text - I spent about 30 minutes crafting so it was the perfect mixture of flirtatious, intriguing, witty, and sexy, that ended up sounding so desperate I could almost hear myself sweating through the screen . What am I supposed to respond to “ok?” Only “lol” would be any worse! At this point I now consider that person a total loss on every level. I shall avoid them for the rest of my natural life. Grrrrr.
