Questions for those out there that use Linux like I do....

What media player do you prefer for music? Which for movies?

Also, which GUI do you use? XFCE, Enlightenment, Gnome, KDE, or...??

I use Gnome, and the standard Rhythm Box/Movie Player that came with Ubuntu 9.04. I'm too lazy to try new things lol Although DVDs dont like to play on my computer, so I may change video players shortly. Not sure to what yet

Try using VLC media player for movies. It plays most any movie file format with pretty good resolution, even in HD.
