just bc i'm curious. i was wondering what kind of food you guys feed your dogs and cats and why you picked your food? over the past year (since we've gotten our fist dog) i've learned tons about dog food and nutrition.
we feed our dog blue buffalo lrg beed adult food and our cats blue buffalo adult cat food. we picked blue bc of the nutritional value. no by-products, 1st 2 ingredients are a meat, and there's no corn. plus it doesn't cost an arm and leg and i don't have to go out of my way to get it (i work at a petstore)
thanks for your help :-)

I feed my boys Fromm's Salmon a la Veg it is made in Wisconsin the state I live in. There is all natural products in the food cause my Golden Retriever is allergic to meat products/bi-products. Treats we try and go with all natural fish ones if possible or peanut butter with no meat or bi-products in them. The Fromm's food is a little bit pricier like 15 lb bag for $25.99+ tax. They have a deal that you buy 9 bags of dog food where we buy our food get the 10th bag free but if you go to the Fromm's site they have a way you can also get the coupon for the free bag from them as well.

I am not sure I think you would have to look on the website if they deliver or you can get it near you cause there is a search on the Fromm's site for all of those types of things as well.

we feed our dog this stuff called "natural balance". it's awesome because it's really healthy and they home deliver lol. it's all natural stuff, and they cater to all sorts of pets too, not just dogs.

i don't think it's much. it's a local company. amusingly they moved warehouse locations at the same time we moved house and we both moved to the same area ;D

Our dog has special food from the vets as he has colitis and an auto-immno disorder, but to be fair he hardly ever eats that so pretty much just eats our food. Our cat has asda pate and biscuits, shes either fussy or lazy but as far as cat food goes she'll only eat pate's then we give her meat and fish when we have our tea.

both my cat and dog eat Beneful dog food. My cat refuses to eat cat food and loves this stuff... so it saves money. As far as it not being nutrional enough for the cat since it's dog food.. the dang this is a little over a year old and nearly 15 pounds. He even has a fat roll hanging! silly animals..

Its the other way around with us, the dog always steals the cats food, even if they are eating the same thing.

I feed Blue Buffalo Wilderness. I think Blue Buffalo is one of the best pet foods out there.

I read up on this dog food review website and BB Wilderness was a 6 star food (1 star being lowest and 6 being highest). Here's the website if anyone wants to see where their dog food rates.

I feed Miss Piggy (the dog) Kibbles n Bits and Mr. Furpants and Stitch (the cats) get Meow Mix. Everything I've tried to feed the cats makes them barf and this is the only thing that hasn't so far. The KnB for Miss Piggy I got cause it was on sale.

I forgot about our bunnies! They live in the garden so they eat all our grass and plants, then they have supreme or wagg pellets. Then my snake eats mice.

if i had the time and/ or patients, i'd put my dog on a raw food diet too, cause of all the scares out there. i just try and keep up todate and the recall lists and pay close attn to if my dog seems to get sick from a new bag of food or anything.

I know this is a little off-topic, but...

Yasashii (cat):
Purina kitten food (no preference, really - we only recently got her)
Temptations (regular ol' treats, plus dental care treats)
And catnip, of course XD

Nesoberu (bearded dragon):
Superworms (staple)
Shanghai Bok Choy (staple)
To a lesser extent, he gets carrots, organic baby food (carrot, apple or squash), hornworms, spinach, green onion. Oranges and strawberries are a VERY rare treat that he absolutely loves (high amounts of acid aren't incredibly healthy for him).
I refuse to feed him crickets anymore. They're dirty little critters and can cause parasites.

uh no its pretty expensive and our vet said its a good dog food to feed our dogs and it wont make them since like pedigree will. Last time i checked we bought Iams for like 9 dollars or if we change to a different kind of Iams it maybe 6 but thats only because its a smaller bag.

my vet recommends iams, but when you really star to study dog nutrition it's not all that great. it's not bad, but it's filled with corn (no nutrient value) by products, and little meet.
