Hey everyone, for those of you that haven't heard, a near-record setting typhoon has affected over a million people in the Philippines. It is being said this typhoon dumped more water on them than Katrina did on NOLA.

In its 6 a.m. update today, NDCC said the National Capital Region had the most number of deaths with 101. Region IV-A is at second with 99 fatalities, followed by Region III and the Cordillera Administrative Region with 37 and three deaths, respectively. Thirty-seven persons were reported missing, the NDCC added. Meanwhile, NDCC placed the total cost of damage from the storm at P2,339,620,884. The government agency said �Ondoy� destroyed P1,517,096 and P882,524,884 worth of properties in the infrastructure and agriculture sectors, respectively.
