I have a shiny new 16GB iPhone 3GS. I was just wondering what apps people have on theirs?

My faves are Facebook, Twitteriffic, Urban Spoon, eBuddy, Depict and Tap Tap Revenge 3 (although it can be quite uncomfortable to play when using two hands!)

I have... Facebook, Twittbit, Bejeweled 2, Text Twist 2, Text Twist, Toobz, Google Earth, DoodleBusddy, BubbleWrap, GPS Speed, Google, A local news app, Buzz, MyTown, CamZoom, Solitaire, and many others. My fave is Winterboard which is obtained by getting Cydia. But you have to have a jailbroken phone for that. Until GeoHotz releases the one for 3.1.3, a lot of 3GS's can't be jailbroken yet. Only 3.1.2 and earlier OS on the 3GS can. 2G and 3G can be jailbroken on all OS versions though.

I don't think I am going to jailbreak my phone juuust yet (seeing as how it's all new and I don't want to break it!) but I daresay I will in time! Since the phone was so expensive, apps should be free!

With my iPod Touch (jailbroken) I have the aforementioned basics plus:

Dictionary.com, Sudoku, FML, TFLN, Tap Tap Revenge 2, Omegle, Pandora, Chess.com, Colloquy (free from Installous, used for IRC)

And then my Cydia apps: WinterBoard, iFile, Terminal, Installous, Categories, SpringBack, iBlank (so simple yet SO awesome), MIM, and FontSwap. Plus all those neat tools like five-icon dock, etc.

Basically the Apple software is cracked into so you can alter the code with third-party apps. Like, I can change fonts, colors, etc. in weird places. It also allows file movement and hiding which you can't easily do otherwise.

Someone better with iPods/iPhones can explain it better.

this site has some great free apps sometimes. I check on a daily basis, and if it seems interesting I download it. haha. Even if the app sucks, it's free, so why not!

my faves are... the FML app, minisquadron, plants vs. zombies, textropolis, paper toss, the creeps, threads.
