So, the next episode for my new podcast will be dedicated strictly to music and I'm looking for new and mostly independent/unsigned/underground bands or artists to feature on there.

Anyone got any good suggestions. It can be bands of all types. Prefer them to have music somewhere that I can either download it or get a copy to play on the show.

I will look them all up. Thank you. The band CAN be signed, that's fine. I just wanted bands that are lesser known. I don't want to promote bands that are already major players, ya know. I'm not here to promote keith Urban, Slipknot, or Lady GaGa...those guys already get plenty of promo.

I want to help the bands that deserve to be heard but the labels either are too scared or too stupid to promote. LOL

Ok, Couldn't find Speakeasy or Tiger. Do you have a link for them by chance?

I did find Whole Wheat Bread. FREAKING AMAZING. Already sent an email to try to get a phone interview with them for the show.

Ahhh, that would be why I didn't fight them...LOL

Yeah, Whole Wheat Bread sort of surprised me. It's SOOO rare to find a BLACK punk band. they are awesome though.

Tribal Ink

They made an album in 2007 and gained a bit of publicity cause someone put them on a P2P netowrk as linkin park, but they probably arent known much and haven't made a song since LOL but i like them.

Song i found them on was called Refugee.

EOA are actually an older band that just got back together after about 10 years of being apart. They're sort of a cross between Linken Park, NIN, and Ministry. Their first CD was amazing and YEARS ahead of it's time.

They have a myspace with videos and a few songs to hear. And you can actually buy their CD's on Ebay for a couple bucks usually.

actually, just in the sense of the way they use melody over a sort of rap/nu metal/industrial style sound.

If you like NIN at all, you will love EOA. They're very much alike.

Yeah, they were way ahead of their time. they actually put their first CD out in like...88 or 89. They did a second CD which was totally overlooked. And then they broke up...

a group called Central Intelligence (http://www.myspace.com/centralintelligencemusic), and a guy from within that group named Premonition (http://www.reverbnation.com/premonitionmusic#). Went to school with these kids, they are rather talented.
