The owner of Small Arms Review magazine loaned us some new machine guns and carbines produced by one of our main competitors so we could review them and compare them to our own offerings. I set up a block of time in the firing range yesterday, we’ve been turning money into noise with an M16 carbine, the competitor's carbine, with our lightweight belt-fed machine gun, and with their lightweight belt-fed machine gun, and with another small submachine gun that is more of an Uzi alternative. This one is chambered for .40 S&W instead of 9mm but it comes both ways. It sure is cool to have a job where it’s a part of staying current with the competition to walk 40 yards to a private indoor firing range and empty a magazine or two from fully automatic weapons. |
