I was still cold when I woke up. It made me think of Lydia and how we kept each other warm. I will have to make a point of returning to Whiterun as soon as I can to visit my family.

I stopped in Winterhold to warm up, sell some furs and make sure I have firewood. I hope to find Aftand quickly.

I have found a cave that I hope leads inside Aftand. When I entered I noticed a lot of blood on the cave floor. Something bad has happened here.

I have just been attacked by a strange metal spider. It was fast and strong. I hope that there are not to many of them in here.

I came across a mad Khajiit. He attacked me as soon as he saw me. He wasn't a strong opponent and I took him down quickly. Afterwards, I looked through his bags and found some empty skooma bottles. I guess he was working down here with the other Khajiit I found dead and went crazy on skooma. I moved the bodies and I will use their camp site and carry on in the morning.
