I decided to travel to Whiterun on foot in the hopes that I might be able to hunt along the way. I do miss hunting.
Lydia has turn our little hovel in to a home. She has even sorted out a room for children. She told me that she wants to stay in Whiterun to run a stall and I said that I was fine with the idea but will miss her on my travels. She also said she would like to adopt a child because she was adopted and thinks that it would better to help a poor child than just conceive one. I have agreed and Lydia told me that there is a homeless child right here in Whiterun. I will see if she would like a home before I leave to meet Esbern and Delphine.
I found little Lucia near Dragonsreach and asked her if she would like a new home. She was delighted at the idea and ran strait home. I'm happy to see my family expanding so quickly. Now I just need to find a son.
Before leaving Whiterun, I got myself some new equipment. I am now the proud owner of proper hunting armor.
I accidentally took a carriage to Marthal instead of Markarth, which is closer to where I am to meet Esbern and Delphine, because I fell asleep. I decided to get a drink at the Moorside Inn before I left and I met a strange fellow by the name of Hoth. He is a bounty hunter and has agreed to join me in my quest to defeat Alduin, saying that it seemed like a worthy battle.
We took a carriage to Markarth but it was late so we decided to get a couple of beds for the night. When we entered the city, a man shouted something about the Forsworn and killed a woman. The guards were quick about it and managed to bring him down before he hurt any one else. Afterwards and a man named Eltry gave me a note that said to meet him in the temple here. I don't know what to make of it but I may go and see him another time. |
