Technically, the moment two people in a relationship become 3, you're a parent. But I was thinking this morning as Morgan had a "stomp-feet-eyebrows-crunched-down-full-frowny-face tantrum," I was pretty impressed. I mean, she's only 27 months old. Once you are too impressed to properly respond to a good old fashioned hissy fit, THEN you're a parent. I think I said something non-committal or passive, like "Too bad" or "Then it's my turn to dress you." I didn't say "Good job!" On that note, I did tell her "good job" as she was feeding the cats, and Morgan stopped, looked up at me from her crouched position over one of the cat's dishes, and said, "Mommy, I'm not done yet." I think I bit the inside of my mouth, trying not to laugh.

I've actually read in the past few days. Like actual books, with paper and ink! I read Fortunately, the Milk by Neil Gaiman. Which you need to read NOW. Wow, it's hilarious. A father goes to the store to buy milk for his two children's cereal, but more importantly, his tea, when he runs into some - adventure. The story is him telling his son and daughter about it. The other is The Lies of Locke Lamora. I'm not so sure about this one yet. I've knew a couple of my friends have read this and loved it. The city is really cool, with interesting nooks and crannies and cool side things that may be interesting later. But I can't get into the characters. A couple of them swear A LOT, and it looses something for me. (Even though I like swearing... ) I'll keep reading. It's one of those LONG high fantasy novels. It does have funny parts, so it's not like Erikson who goes on and on and on; and on and on. (Though his Malazan Books of the Fallen series is amazing.)

Ugh - Passover is coming. ("Winter is coming!") I have two seders to go to this year - my parents' and a vegetarian one with new friends. Fortunately, they aren't all I'M AWESOME BECAUSE I DON'T EAT ANY MEAT. And they're lesbians. Lemme continue with stereotypes. lol Their son, Elias, is friggin adorable & I can't handle it. My bestie, Victoria (2 in May), is coming, too. Her om texted me last night and said that V told her that she loves Mimi (what she calls Morgan) and I "to the moon and back!" OMG. I about melted into a Rachel Puddle. <3 <3

Alright - back to work a bit, then pick up my little munchkin. <3

haha Kids can be so cute, even when they're being bad! :x Little stinkers.

Winter is coming! lol

That first book sounds funny. I may have to try to read that at some point.

I ended up watching Frozen. It was good! I liked it.

Heh, the little girl of the twins I used to nanny for, at about the same age, had nailed the hands-on-hips eyeroll omg you're so stupid why would you say that to me attitude. It was both hilarious and horrifying, LOL. Their next door neighbor (and good friend of the mom) just wouldn't believe that her sweet little 2yr old was rolling her eyes and giving such 'tude, until she finally saw it for herself and just about died, lmao. Kids are a handful, but they're an awful entertaining handful, anyway.

I know, they're awesome! I had some in the US but they're who knows where now, and this whole set was right here, cheap, so I haaaad to get it!

I loooove cooking and baking! Yummy! Hahaha. Sadly I don't do much of it, barely at all, for two reasons. One, there's just the two of us, so I don't want to make any larger thing that we'd either have to gorge on (lol) or else waste (which I hate wasting food!), and two, we only have this crummy convection[-slash-micro] oven (the micro part of which is broken and we don't care about anyway) and it always takes longer for stuff to be done than it should and that's with me normally bumping the temp up 10°C, too! So I fear things not cooking properly, and then, again, being wasted. >_< I'm really good at it, though! Lol.

Hahaha I knowww, the attitude is totally amusing but bad!, it's so hard to keep properly stern when they're being all hilarious!
