**DONE DANCE**

03/26/2014

DONE DONE DONE DONE EFFING DONE.

I hope. This was my first month doing the monthly printed newsletter for the temple. I knew it would be a pain in my tushy. Alyssa used to call it FTT (F&*$ing Tikvah Topics). (My synagogue is Beth Tikvah, House of Hope in Hebrew). I just finished the last of the calendar and little details and printed it out for the Rabbi and the Administrator to look over. What a relief!!!! ...Which means that I'll have allll daaaay tomorrow to do the Religious School/Hebrew School email... UGH. lol

Morgan and I had a great day yesterday. I randomly decided to go to the mall with her so she could run around the playground there. It's space-themed, with a rocket ship and planets - and Pluto! (SO THERE. ) I only made her go into PayLess Shoes. I've been looking for "sparkly" shoes for her for services and whatever, and we haven't agreed or found the right size. So, right there on the shelf for 1/2 price were silver sparkly shoes with four silver sparkly bands cris-crossed over the toes. She wore them all afternoon! Morgan also ended  up playing on the coin-operated toys that are now parked in the food court. There's a carousel with four vehicles on it, a plane, an ice cream truck, a helicopter, and a roller coaster video ride. It shows a video of two different Cedar Point roller coasters, as the "car" moves. For the most part, she just crawled over all of them and pressed buttons. A grandma and grandpa with a 1-and-a-half-year-old boy paid for one round of the carousel. Morgan was on the train. Of course! I paid the $1 for a second trip. She told me twice on the car ride home that she had fun. Mama Score!!!

As you all know, Nick Jr. is about the only channel that I'm allowed to watch with Morgan. So, after watching these shows fifty gazillion times (give or take), I start having questions. Like, why don't Max & Ruby have parents? Why does Daddy Pig take that "big belly" stuff from Peppa Pig? If the Tickety Toc characters are made of wood, why do they eat? Why doesn't Little Bear wear clothes? Father and Mother Bear do, as do his grandparents. Anyway, I've started a story based on Tickey Toc. I've actually written a couple pages, which is a couple more pages than I've written in a long time!

Well, I need to start thinking about picking up my munchkin. <3

LOL the Max & Ruby thing always bugged me, too. Why are these little children parentless?! Fortunately the kids I nannyed were never crazy about it so I didn't have to put up with it much. The only other one I know is Little Bear, and I'm pretty sure that's how it was in the books, so they just followed suit. Now, why the author/illustrator decided that, I haven't the foggiest!

Yay for getting it finished.

Aww, it sounds like she had a blast. I bet it wore her out some too!

All of those are good questions. I don't believe I have watched any of those shows thankfully. haha

That's awesome that you do the newsletter. That so fits. chuckle.

I don't think Nickelodeon is allowed to have deep and probing questions! lol.
