Am I the only one?

Are memories defined by those whom they belong to, as a recollection of how one felt, or simply by how many people share the memories?

I have been wondering about this recently!

How can one persons memory be correct? As emotion and other events may change the memory. but then if two people remember the same event differently, which memory is correct?

I think memory has to be a recollection of how one felt.
