Tiger Woods's 'Real Apology to Elin Will Come from My Behavior'

02/19/2010

they did what?! Celeb News & GossipAcknowledging that those gathered had supported him and now had cause to be critical of him, Tiger Woods publicly apologized Friday morning during a televised press conference.

"I want to say to each of you simply and directly: I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible, selfish behavior... I know people want to find out how i could be so selfish and so foolish. People want to know how I could have done these things to my wife Elin and to my children. And while I have always tried to be a private person, there are some things i want to say," Woods said from behind a podium.

"Elin and I have started the procress of discussing the damage caused by my behavior," he explained, adding, "My real apology .. will come from my behavior. We have a lot to discuss. What we say to each other will remain between the two of us."

The golfer broke his silence for the first time since his bizarre car accident on Nov. 27, during a controlled statement at the TPC Sawgrass golf course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Woods, 34, delivered his remarks in front of a handpicked audience. His mother, Kultida, was seated in the front row. Elin was noticeably absent.

Woods's reps apparently contacted the PGA commissioner Thursday to inform him that the golfer would be making his statement on Friday, as the scheduling coincided with a break from his sex rehab treatment.

While Woods broke his silence in Florida, his professional golf colleagues were competing in this year's WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Marana, Ariz., a tournament that Woods has won three times.

Hahaha! I love how one of his concubines has come forward all "I demand an apology like the one he gave his wife! He cheated on me with all these different women too!" Seriously, if you're going to be a worthless whore and mess around with married men, expect to be treated like a worthless whore and expect him to cheat on you with other worthless whores too!! hahaha x

i think im still in shock he even did this lol he seemed so much the nice guy, i mean what was it 7 girls??? holy crap! why bother even being married?? i honestly feel bad for him, i know he did this on his own but holy shit, i would not wanna be him. i hope his wife knows she beautiful, and that shes awesome and a good mom. i think when people are cheated on it makes them question their worth, so i hope she doesn't question that. that should be his biggest goal, if they stay together, to make sure she knows it was all him, and not her, even if he wanted a younger prettier person.♥

I just don't think it's any of our business so I don't know why he would have to apologize. It's none of our business rather he apologizes to his wife either. So many people cheat on their partner everyday, I don't need an apology for it. He should just go back to golfing and move on with his life, imho.

personally, i don't think he's sorry. the only thing he's sorry for is getting caught. i watched his "apology" on tv...it looked 100% rehearsed and it was just way too dramatic to be sincire. it's become way too over dramatized to me. any man who cheats on his wife the way he did isn't truly sorry. if he really loved her he wouldn't have done it to begin with, sex addict or not.
