I've done a lot of bragging about my husband....

10/04/2018

But now I get my first rant! Yay!

So, he works overnights at a factory in the next town over from us. He got off this morning, and since he doesn't have to go back in till Sunday night (technically his Monday), he decided he was going to stay up most of the day, and "nap" late afternoon, then get back up in the evening so he doesn't screw his sleep schedule up too much.

Well, the jerk over did it. This morning he and I spent a couple of hours playing WoW, then this afternoon, we got Subway for lunch, took the car to get the tire replaced (been on a donut since Tuesday), and pay a couple of bills before picking up the kids from school. Afterwards, we played around with the kids, and over all, just had a nice day.

Here's the problem. When he gets to the point where he's falling asleep in his desk chair, I know I'm gonna have a hard time. When he gets super tired, he start behaving as though he's drunk. I know he's not! But the behavior reminds me of someone who's black out drunk, and doesn't realize what they're doing. Last time he got that bad, he woke up after about an hour, and walked into the kitchen, pulled a collander out of the cabinent, and proceeded to piss into it. I stopped him after a second of it, and sanitized the crap out of the collander.

This time however, he's laying in bed, the kids are sitting on the floor playing their tablets, and I was in the bedroom doing chores (man can usually sleep through anything), and he suddenly pops up out of bed, and I watch him stand up, walk 2 feet away from the bed, and stand in the corner between our bookshelf and closet door, and whip it out to pee in the corner. I yelled at him, but not before he'd let lose for a couple of seconds. He wandered into the bathroom, and finished, then flopped back into bed. Haven't heard a peep from him since.

So yeah, that was fun.

***Edited as of 10:30, he woke up again, not even really awake yet, walked in the living room, where I'm sitting, locks the front door, turns off the light, turns on the hallway light, and walks into the laundry room. He had the washer open, and was grabbing like he was getting ready to pee. Thankfully, I stopped him before he did that. I swear, when he's like this, he's like policing a 2 year old who's just learned that his wee-wee makes water!

Gosh, I get kind of like I'm drunk when I'm really tired, but I still manage to get to the loo. How does he react when you tell him about this after he's had some sleep?

At first he said I was making things up, then I left the evidence for him (He just missed the toilet completely, but denied it was him....) So, yeah, left the evidence, then he griped when he stepped in it after he'd finally slept.
