The root of the matter

I had my first root canal done today. Decided after insurance picked up the bulk of the bill I might as well use what I have been paying COBRA for so keep the tooth...

I have not yet heard anything from the job, just over a week after I put in my application. I want to call and ask if they have scheduled interviews but I really dont know what to do.

If I call and they have and I was not chose I will be devistated.

If I call and they have not, I am afraid I will get my hopes up even more and we all know where that might lead.

i really hate this.

I am a good teacher and would be great in this position.

The job front is fine for now. Our companies contract was beat out by another companies contract so in March a transition will take place but no one can tell us more than that right now. We found this out about a month ago. So far there has been a bunch of smoke blowing and bsing.

ok, off to get some mashed potatoes now as my face is still a bit sore...oh and we are having a chili cookoff at work on thursday so I have to prepare for that as well..

I got chili in the slow cooker now, I'll send some right over *laffs* I made my first cobra payment yesterday and now I can't even afford to go to the dr *sigh* eh! such is my life...

I'll keep my fingers crossed on the teaching position, you so deserve it...

they do take their time sometimes. I say just wait a bit longer, then you might call. I dunno. I never know what to do in these situations either.
