Beast Mode

I'm starting my Body Beast program over again starting today. I hurt my shoulder and couldn't lift for a while. Bummer, but that's okay!

Everyone has set backs and as long as you pick yourself up and get back to it, that's what matters.

This program is all weight training, which is something new to me. I started my fitness journey with 21 Day Fix Extreme and all it required was two sets of hand weights and a resistance band. I'm ready to take my fitness to the next level. My goals are quite different than that of about 97% of the people I help. I'm trying to move the number on the scale UP by gaining muscle mass. I have always been underweight and its just not where I want to be.

I have also been working on my website. It's a bit plain jane right now but it's another site where I can post recipes, motivation, information, etc. It's fun creating new things! I always give myself new projects because I don't like to be bored haha!

For anyone who is reading, do you have a fitness goal? What is it? Are you taking steps to reach it?

It's kind of lame but I want to be able to run. No matter how healthy I have been, low weight, I have never been able to run. I absolutely hate it & I feel like I can't catch my breath. It's awful.

I don't have a goal because that would sorta mean there's a finish line and I don't want there to be a finish line. I just want to keep going up in weights. I would love to bench my weight (I think I can do but don't want to test it on my 20 year old bench press) but again, I wouldn't stop there if I reached it. hmm I think we need to find a different way to term it, a different approach. Any ideas?

Thank you for the positive note and encouragement. I hope you reach goal. It must be weird to be underweight and have a different goal than being thin. Probably hard to find support but you can reach your goal. My goal is to be thinner and not so flabby. Take care

I have several fitness goals. I need to lose 50 lbs and gain better balance, coordination and flexibility. I'm a couch potato and have extremely tight muscles. They are not elastic. They are more like a stick that will snap instead of bend.

My current goal is to lose 20lbs by Halloween. I will be ordering my 21 day fix here soon and I am so excited! =)
