Work??

02/25/2016

Well, yesterday was pretty boring in work because from about 10:00 onwards (the whole day) I had no work. I didn’t really want to spend the whole day reading Bloop diaries because when I do that I get bored and read bits of one and bits of others and then I get confused with who is who. So I try and just do one diary through to the end so I get to really know the person. So I just did one yesterday then thought that I really need to find something to do that is work related in case I get caught. When I read internet things in work I always cut and paste them from the internet into a Word document and change the font to what we normally type in so that anyone passing my desk will not see me on the Internet and only see Word docs open. Smart thinking!! So I found a Petition (43 pages long) explaining all about the big case we are working on just now (we defend companies charged with crimes, frauds etc) and I read it all very slowly and took it all in and now I am very educated in the case rather than being confused with all the names, companies etc. Then my boss appeared at my back and asked how I was getting on. I said I didn’t have much work so I was learning about the case. He kept saying “Excellent, very well done, if you want to read the up to date Petition let me know and I’ll email it to you”. So proud of myself (for not getting caught skiving). So today I am afraid is the exact same. It is now 2:20pm and I have NO WORK AT ALL. Fed up with the Petition (I got to page 26) and started getting confused again. So back to reading Bloop diaries! Still on the same one and it is good.

Last night we went to the usual weekly quiz night in our local but two friends came with us. There were five teams and we came last! Our raffle ticket won though and the money was £35 this week but we lost the game you have to play to win it! Never mind, next week there will be more money to win. Looking forward to going home and chilling. I have last night’s soaps to watch and tonight’s. So a whole night spent on the couch! Some life Iife got. I’m exciting at getting a Fitbit. The cheapest one is £60 from Argos so I am going to treat myself to one for my birthday in March. For those who haven’t a clue what it is, it is a little thing that goes round your wrist like a watch and it calculates all the calories you burn during the day, all the steps you take, your BMI, heart rate etc etc. It even tells you how many calories you burn in your sleep! It would be interesting to wear it during a night of passion to see how much that burns but with Peter it would be one calorie! And on that note……… cheerio for now.

Not going to let us in on who the diarist is with the good stories?

Hi Shelyn, yes it was a girl (woman now) called sheissuffering and she is from Cardiff. I read hers all the way through but she hasn't been on for a while. I've now started on Daddy Warbucks who has loads of entries but they are all mixed up but I'm getting there. He is an interesting guy.

Hi there, I enjoyed your diary and hoped you would come back for an update, lol. Welcome back.

You defend companies? Boo! Hiss! :¬p

RYN: oh, i already know about not being honest with them. As far as they know I look for work every day and always check UJM.

Yeah William, even companies have the right to defend themselves, lol. Corporate defence is pretty boring, I much prefer other types of criminal law.

ryn: Morning Pages are pages that I write every single morning--they're stream-of-conscious writing, I just jot down whatever comes to mind and I write three pages. This comes from Julia Cameron, author of The Artists Way. I read the book and I loved it!
