Ted

I had promised to keep this diary up to date and have now let it slip. I knew it would happen. I much prefer this place to Facebook. Well, I have been busy since I last wrote but won't bore you all with the details. Not had a holiday yet this year but yesterday we booked up to go to Dresden at Christmas (14 December- 21 Dec). This is in Germany (for the people who don't know) and we love Germany, having gone to Berlin last year for 8 days. We are going to the Christmas markets and where we are staying is right beside the train station. Also, it is just under two hours on the train to Berlin, so we are going back to visit our old haunts and it is also under two hours by train to Prague. We went to Prague a few years ago and would love to go back. So I am so excited.

Last week I was off work hoping for good weather but no such luck. We had two days of sunshine and five days of torrential wind and rain. On the two good days we took the dog to the beach and he was in his glory. I will attempt to attach some photos. On the other days I vegetated in front of the telly, ate like a pig and did no exercise. So I am soooooo looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. I love my job and where it is situated.

On Friday night we went to see Ted 2. Wow, what a film. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. Best film in a long time. I want a talking bear!!! Today is housework day and also going to finish Season 3 of Bates Motel and start on Gossip Girl. I heard it is good but I really need to finish Season 6 of Breaking Bad. Love that programme so much. Also, Wentworth starts back on Wednesday. Can't wait. Maybe I need to get a life.......

I have decided to make Bloop my permanent home. I'm uploading my previous entries as time allows to 1) save them some place I can get to and 2) allow readers the back story to my life.

That sounds like a great idea. I will be sure to read them. I was just confused, lol.

People with children use that expression because they'd rather give gifts to their kids rather than for themselves. It's no longer about you as an adult anymore once kids come into the picture. Kids don't appreciate 98% of what you do for them. So, I guess it's really just satisfaction on the parents' end.
