Last night's night out was really good but the prices of drinks in Glasgow are shocking. Met up in the posh part of Glasgow called Merchant City with some friends we hadn't seen for ages. There were about 12 of us. Went to lovely restaurant/bar called Citation and I had a cocktail. Woo hoo. Stayed there a couple of hours then moved on to Corinthian which is very posh and all the men are drop dead gorgeous in their suits. Very sophisticated. Another couple of hours later we headed to the Anchor Line. I had never been in either of these bars before so it was all new to me. Had a great laugh and will really need to do this more often.
Peter and I very rarely go out to posh places in Glasgow. But definitely going to go again. Got home about 1:00am. Today I got up and my right middle finger had swollen up, was very red and the joints were very painful. It has stayed that way all day and I haven't a clue what has caused it. The weather today is horrendous. Hailstones, battering rain and wind. Shocking considering it is June tomorrow. Peter and I just took the dog for a walk and then Peter ran along to the local chippy and got us chips for our lunch (well he actually had a sausage supper with haggis, greedy pig). I had chips and shared them with Teddy. Not healthy at all. We watched 'Courage the Cowardly Dog' on You Tube. Loads of it. ha ha. He loves it and I had never seen it before and now I am hooked.
Tonight I am watching the final of Britain's Got Talent and I am disappointed. Big pile of dance groups and yet all the great singers got put out. Peter is in his bed as he is still hung over from yesterday. That's about it.
Heading to bed fairly early as I have work tomorrow. Night people. |
