need a change

I am feeling much better! My throat still hurts a bit and my stomach hurts a lot because of all the medicine I was taking before, but the worst is over, I think. Hopefully starting Monday, I will be able to take my vitamins again - I didn't want to take them this week because my stomach was so screwy, it was one of the worst stomach pains I've EVER had! It felt like I was being stabbed, burned, and punched at the same time. Fucking horrible.

Class started this past Wednesday. I'm really excited about archaeology! My professor (Duvall) kicks major ass, although it's going to suck when he retires at the end of the semester. The students seem fairly cool (at least the ones I sit close to) and we're going to be doing actual field work. Speech class sucks so I'm going to drop it and take it either this summer or in the fall. My professor is insane (in a bad way) and most of the kids there are...KIDS...middle college high school students (my college has a program where high school kids can take college classes and work towards their AA) but they are just so loud, annoying, and irritating! Urgh. Math class is going to be tough. We had a sub the first day but the syllabus is just blah and so is the homework.

My dad still isn't talking to me and I'm not talking to him either. Two weeks and 2 days so far.

I am not sure if work is right for me right now. Julie and I are working together again but I feel like things aren't the same. I am trying to work really hard and do the best I can but I just don't feel that....passion (I guess...?) anymore. It kind of sucks because I really thought this job was awesome but now I'm not so sure.

Tonight I have to babysit Joey and Benji but I don't think it will be for very long. It'll also give me a chance to talk to Steve (Joey and Benji's dad) and catch up with him. I rarely ever see him and we're friends so it'll be nice.

Anyway that's about it for now. I have to get ready to leave and change my shirt again because apparently it has gum residue on it....?
