Why can't i just be happy??

I have no idea what's wrong with me lately. I'm in a funk that just needs to go away. I weigh 218lbs after i had Sophia i was down to 208 and i gained it back because i started drinking soda again,I need to stop!!! I feel like i'm not getting anywhere, I even go to the gym every other day and i don't see the progress i'm making although my husband says he does. For my height since i'm 5'1 i should be 140lbs. I just want things to get better even if we do try again for a baby if i can. I need advice for anybody who has has a successful weight loss and how did you do it??

It is just hard.

One thing that may help if you can eat your last meal before 6PM at night. Depending on your schedule and no snacking drink plenty of water.

If you're 5'1" you should weight less than 140 I think. I'm not sure though, I'm not a doctor. lol But you'll get there! Going to the gym is a great start and you may not notice the results right away cause you always see yourself but if your husband is saying he is seeing the changes then it's happening. It is a slow start, but it'll happen! I'd cut out all sugary drinks and try drinking mostly water. And have some protein before and after your workouts. Do you use any apps on your phone to try to lose weight? I use my fitness pal, it's great. You can enter in your current weight and height, what you want your weight to be, etc. You can log your food, drinks, and your workouts.
