Sorry its been ages since I last updated but a lot of things have gone on.
We have finally moved out of ambers and in to the 3bed flat which we hoped to get. I will be putting up some pictures which Elof took the other day.
The bathroom looks small but it isn't as the corner bath takes up most of the room which is good as I have always wanted a corner bath and it fits up to two people (one in the bath and one on the seat bit who can have a shower at the same time).
We got the keys last Monday and we still have a few things to get and then we can all relax. Getting the keys was a complete nightmare as I needed proof of my National Insurance Number from the Job Center all they did was pass me from pillar to post and back again. We called them up to send out a letter with my Number on it and because its a joint claim all that was on the letter was Elofs National Insurance Number and nothing to do with me and it took them two hole weeks to send it to us. So using my brain I decided to go to Bolton and get John (my New Deal Advisor) to print it off for me and then I met up with Upside Down Iain and made out way back to Manchester and then got the keys and hey presto I have my own flat woop.
No only that but Elof called up Virgin Media on Monday to get the 50 meg net, TV and Phone package from them and We got it all installed for on Friday (yes 4 days waiting instead of a few weeks like you normally get). Not only did they install it for free but they also threw in a V+ box which normally cost £50 just to install it and they are going to knock off £30 off the second bill so that's great.
I finally got my birthday present from Elof ( a second xbox, one for me and one for him) as he ordered it from [link] on the 28th April and it said that it would arrive on the 8th May but it didn't arrive then so when he called up to change the address to the new flat they said that it was still with them and it was finally delivered on Wednesday. So we now need another telly for the bedroom so Elof can have his consoles in there and I am having mine in the front room/Kitchen.
Its a really nice area where we live. We live a stones throw away from the motorway and a pub but we are surprised that you cant hear the motorway or any noise from the pub (yesterday you did as there was a football match on but that's the only time there has been some noise).
