HELP From BLOOPERS and Easy Diary Refugees

To all the Easy Diary refugees ...

If you're using the "BETA VERSION" of Bloop, look to the top right corner and you'll see your Profile pic or just an empty box if you don't have a pic. Put your cursor on the pic/box and a menu will open on the right side of your screen.  Down towards the bottom it will say, TURN OFF BETA VERSION.  You should go back to the old style Bloop Diary then. I don't see an ADD FAVORITES in the BETA VERSION. Maybe Steve hasn't work that into his BETA VERSION yet.  Or are there any Bloopers who know if a person can add favorites with BETA?  Posted below are the instructions on how to add diaries to your favorites when you get your diary out of BETA.


How to add a diarist as your favorite: when you're on another diarist's diary, at the diary's top menu bar over to the top left, you'll see your diary name then next to that it says HOME and next to that MY BLOOP and next to that THIS DIARY ..

Put your cursor on the THIS DIARY box and a drop down menu will appear. In the menu it will say "ADD FAVORITE". If the diarist is already on your favorites list you won't see ADD FAVORITE, you'll see remove from faves instead. You must turn off BETA in order to add FAVES. Instructions for turning off BETA listed in the above paragraph

Are there any long time Bloopers who know any HTML coding for me to use on my diary to change the layout etc?  I have old Open Diary coding that doesn't work here.  Any help with that would be appreciated.

I posted this entry for the benefit of any of my friends coming over from Easy Diary. Easy Diary started two years ago after Open Diary went offline.  Unfortunately Easy Diary will go also.  I remembered I had my diary here.  I always liked it here on Bloop. I wrote here a long time ago when the website first started. It has a true diary site atmosphere.  Unlike some of the new blog sites of today.  I'll look forward to getting to know new people on Bloop.  I'm an amature poet.  I also write on All Poetry.  Please feel free to add me to your favorites.  As I said, I'd love to get to know new people.

Hi Shelyn! WELCOME! I'll help you as much as I can. Right now I have to get off the computer or my son is going to kill me! He has homework to do. Chemistry/Differential Equations

The profile pic feature isn't working I don't think. Bonnie and I sent a ticket on that. Hopefully we'll hear something about that. Read my entry thoroughly here as it explains how to get out of the BETA VERSION of Bloop. You may be in Beta and it doesn't have any menu's at the top of the screen. So that might be why you're having issues figure out how to write. In the OLD VERSION OF BLOOP the menu is at the top.

PS ..

Shelyn at the top of your diary there is a button that says "WRITE" ..click it and you'll see "message" or "entry" ...pick entry and you'll get the box to write an entry.

Thank you! My problem still is is the icon not saving and my front page not saving. I type it in the front page edit page, hit save.....but when I go to see my front page, it's blank, nothing's there....
