So I'm new here. Let's begin! I'm 28, married for 3 years. Hubby and I have been trying to have a baby for just as long. Right now I'm seeing a specialist. We haven't had any luck so far, but I'm trying my best to be optimistic. I don't have much else to say on that whole thing, but I'm sure I will later. This weekend is my co-worker's wedding. When she announced it at the beginning of this year, I was really excited. But now, as it's only 5 days away, I really don't even want to go lol. I don't really know why, I just don't have much interest in going. I know it's going to be beautiful though, and I'm sure it will be fun. I'm curious to see her wedding dress, she told me how much she spent and I couldn't believe it. When I got married, I think I spent around $450 on my dress. Which, to me, is still a hell of a lot of money. But she told me she spent $1500, and that was what she "talked them down to". Yikes. I sure hope this dress is gorgeous lol. But I can't really hate on her, when you see the dress you want, cost doesn't really matter anymore. Ok, that's all for now. I hope to update often, and hope I don't bore people to death!

I spent 99$ on my wedding dress and I loved it. Everyone said it was goregous..I dont THINK they were lying. lol But yea I think its kinda ridiculous to spend TONS of money on a wedding since people often forget the real meaning behind it! But if thats what they want and they have the money for it...lol
I love weddings though...

Welcome to Bloop There are a few women here TTC so I'm sure you will find a great support group.

When I was looking at wedding dresses I thought I would die at some of the prices then I hear about people spending THOUSANDS! I mean, I want to look amazing, but I can't justify all that money for it to be worn for just a few hours. Hope you have fun at the wedding!
