good for you for trying to get started with working out again. have you considered maybe doing other things before starting running again? like, maybe do a 20-30 minute strength workout (yoga, etc) to sort of just get back in the groove of things before jumping into running. sometimes that helps me. though, i'm a cyclist. when i try running my body is convinced i'm trying to kill us.

Why not try and stop smoking first.. That's if you want to.. And maybe your boyfriend likes hot sweaty girls ... If he doesn't put a sign on the door saying "do not disterb" or something along the lines of that . Always alternatives to problems and good luck to your work outs!

Ooooo daft punk is great to listen to while working out. Good job for starting your workouts! I went to roller derby practice for the first time in over a year last night, oh my god, I was dying. I only handled the first 45 minutes of the two hour practice and I was done haha.
