*random* i feel like that's either a gross overreaction, or it's justified. Like it's not in the middle anywhere. I agree with the above comment, in that if you're living in someone else's house and that someone is helping you out on the contingence that you follow a set of rules, when you break those rules, they have every right to take that as disrespectful and act upon it, especially if this has happened more than once. But if this is the first time you've been out past a given curfew/when you said you'd be back, as opposed to like the third or fourth time, then obviously that's a massive overreaction. In any case i wish you luck. Try talking to him, and try not to be combative. You win more flies with honey than vinegar.

well you shouldn't do something you're ashamed of. But the question really becomes, are you ashamed because you really DOn'T want to be doing it and need help to change? Or are you ashamed because other people think you shouldn't be doing it?
