Twelve in 12 in 2011 Challenge

I want to join!! I didn't read AT ALL when I was younger. Over the past 3 years I started to read TONS .. But since I started College I started reading text books and stopped reading REAL books. I'd really enjoy getting back into reading, so this is the perfect challenge for me. I use to go thru easy 12 books a month, 1 book a month shouldn't be that hard ANDDD I'll get to pick back up in my fave. series.

Mind if I change my reading selection for January? I'm just not in the mood for heavy reading at the moment.
I'm reading Sex and the City by Candice Bushnell in the moment, and would like to use that as my January choice instead if it's okay.

I've got a few I'm considering. At the moment, it looks like a toss up between Six Wives by David Starkey or A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. 
Although I might change my mind between now and January first. I'm using Twelve in 12 as an excuse to catch up on reading all the books that are piled up under my bed.

 I think mine will be "We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver. I've wanted to read it for years and I've never gotten around to it. I just borrowed it from the library a couple of weeks ago but I got caught up with other books and still haven't started. Hopefully no one has it on hold so I can renew it.

We're driving from Brisbane to Sydney so what a better opportunity (I'm obviously not driving lol)
I have been hinting that I really want it for Christmas so let's see if anyone has actually paid any attention

ugh the movie was alright but I had problems with a lot of things. They strayed away from the story a bit too much for my liking but the book was awesome!
