In terms of rhyme, poetry is pretty flexible... my favourite poet Sylvia Plath rarely rhymes at all, and then there are dozens of rhyming styles such as couplets and quattrains... I used to love writing poetry and I liked to rhyme, but now that I am trying to get back into it, having studied it more at uni, I am trying to push myself to write in different styles so that I can get more experience so to speak..
What I love of the few poems of yours that I have read is the ideas behind them, this one in particular is so poignant in places.. in the last stanza/verse each line is so abrupt and to the point and I think that the style conveys really well the message of the poem that there are consequences to doing stupid things.
Love it. Kinda goes along with what I've gone through, not specifically, but basically how I've been run down and have gone through hell, and now I'm trying to turn my life around.
