haha, im going to do this in your comments, neener.
1.Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?
Well, maybe I shouldn't be reading this diary, haha, but I don't wear makeup, like hardly ever, so... lol. But my hair is never nice either. Guess I lose!! I'd pick the messy hair one though, because I LOVE messy hair. And I do wear some basic form of foundation at least to cover zits, and I think I'd feel self-conscious without it.
2.Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?
I'll shave my eyebrows and do the Sharpie thing! hahahah!
3.Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?
I don't know the difference because I've never used either. haha. Christy, I am such a bad friend. lol.
4.Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?
I kinda actively like both depending.. haha. I mean I don't like a super visible lipliner, but sometimes it's not so bad. And 80s perms are awesome. hahahaha
5.Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?
Overdone blush, because it doesn't look dirty.
6.Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?
hammer pants.
7.Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?
the really weird tan lines.. is this really such a weird thing? gosh, i always have them and i didn't even know people cared about that. haha. i've had the whole sock lines and the farmers tan and the racoon eyes and of course normal strap tan lines. none bother me at all.
8.Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair color?
i don't care. my hair is probably always the epitomy of both. i mean.. i color my own hair - that's like taboo, right? and i constantly walk around with the roots showing - actually, like right now in fact, and i never get hair cuts but like once a year. lol
9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?
twitter - i never really go to youtube anyway. lol
10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?
mascara because i don't wear it anyway, and makeup brushes are a new discovery that i realized is actually really really useful, lol.
ok so the shampoo.. well. the scent is way too much for me. it didn't smell soapy in the store, but as soon as it lathered, it was way strong.. like.. men's deodorant soap strong.
but i was surprised how nice it lathered - i expected to be annoyed by that haha.
჻ೋ჻ I like the scent of strawberries and cream so I'll have to look into that. Yeah I use lotion every day, so they probably wouldn't last very long, but it would still be worth it if it even last a month or so. I just really like the idea of switching to solid products, I go through tons of those bottles. ჻ೋ჻
lol yes, this is totally what I am expecting. I got this crazy thick PONDS moisturizer, which is just way too much until it gets dry. I think the retinol product I'm using has a crazy low concentration, though, so it may do nothing at all, including fix my skin. Ha!
Interesting! I've heard really good things about that product. Hope it continues to work for you. I was warned with retinol that things may get worse before they get better.
Yes, the fake wiccy comes with a tin. The lavender one actually does not. I store it in the little cardboard it came in, but that's really not ideal. lol.
I swear, though, the best massage bar in the universe is Lush's Strawberry Feels Forever, if you even remotely like the scent of strawberries and cream. It seems, though, the better they moisturize, the less they last.
჻ೋ჻ I put lotion all over my body everyday after I shower lol I always have to be moisturized. So the fake wiccy one might last me longer? Do you store these in a tin as well, like the shampoo? ჻ೋ჻
჻ೋ჻ Awesome! As soon as I get to Target I'll give it a try. I've been looking on LUSH's website too. We don't have a store here so I'd have to order the products online. ჻ೋ჻
I've tried retinol and it made my skin worse. It is way way too drying.. I was red and painful and it was horrible. That was years ago though, when my mom was trying to force me to get rid of zits "for my own good". lol. But I have dry, acne prone skin like you, so just a warning.
It's really just going to depend how much you use it, and whether you use it over your whole body. I think the lavender one will last a little less than the fake wiccy, because it's SO easily meltable, but I'd say anywhere from a month to maybe two or more depending on your use.
No problem! The solid shampoo is just about the size of a hockey puck and comes in a little silver container. You get your hair good and wet, then take the bar and rub it over your hair several times. Then work up a lather. If it doesn't lather enough, get the bar wet and rub it over your head again. From there, it lathers like regular shampoo and is lovely! Now, on the other hand, I had a rougher time with the conditioner. It took a TON more swipes over my hair. And, like I said, I really think I over did it, because after all that, it became greasy. I'd probably start with just the solid shampoo and see how you like it.
჻ೋ჻ Ok so explain the solid shampoo and conditioner things to me. I am so intriuged by this stuff I want to go to Target to try them. But I have never used solid shampoo or conditioner, and I still use body wash. I now feel extremely guilty for using those big plastic bottles which I know are bad for the environment lol. ჻ೋ჻
