 I submitted a story to my writer's group, and I knew it was still pretty rough, but I had to turn something in... Yeah, I got my ass handed to me.
I got several compliments, I am improving, but Ooof.... that hurt.
To be fair... It wasn't fully polished, and they did point out the rough spots. Of course, I didn't
think there'd be THAT many...
I need chocolate....
