Chair inconsistency | 05/12/2009 |
 So, I have this chair at work. I acquired it as someone was attempting to put it in the "to be disposed of" pile of office equipment. The person who'd disposed of it said that it had issues with staying at a certain height.
OK, so a broken pneumatic cylinder, other than that, it's a very swanky-nice chair. I nabbed it.
Now, I could make it stay up, and if I didn't use the recline feature, it wouldn't slip. Or at least, it didn't until this morning.
Now it's gotten very short, and it won't stay up. It's still the nicest office chair I've ever had, and I'm not trashing it. I'm going to work it out.
Until then, I'll feel like a kid at the big-peoples table.
Could be worse.
