My current cell contract is up at the end of the month, and I want to get into a new plan, but I want a smart phone. Of course, the smart phone needs a smart phone plan with some sort of web service (I assume) which costs ridiculously more than what we're paying now.
I know what I don't want. I don't want ATT, Verizon, or Sprint. Their service plans are double what I'm paying now, and with the exception of Verizon, the service sucks with those companies (Verizon charges a premium rate, because they think they're special. It sucks being a good provider).
I had been considering an iPhone. Briefly. Of course, that requires going with a sucky provider, so NO to the iPhone. The Nexus One was my next choice, but at this moment in time, it is not available through T-Mobile, so I'm losing choices quick.
I'll have to make my choice soon. Hopefully T-Mobile will offer some sort of loyalty discount to get me into a worthwhile data plan at not too much price.
