So, I'm on my way to changing my life. At least, I hope so. I have sent a short story to a professional publication.

Now, I expect to be rejected. I'm a "new" writer, and even though I think the story is pretty good, and my wife (professionally published) thinks it's good, I still expect the rejection.

We'll see.

PRETEND I JUST FIST PUMPED YOU! if it's rejected, whatever. good for you, you put yourself out there and that is the hardest part. now no matter what happens it'll be easier next time! also, whatever you put your heart into is good. i bet it is a wonderful short story.
