I officially put my name out in the community regarding my business today. I have been awake since 6:30am...and it is nearly 10:30pm currently. I woke up, got around for the day (made myself look all professional and such), went to buy a quick breakfast and ran to Wal-Mart. From there, I went to the location for the Expo and set up my booth. It was located in the gymnasium of the church I attend (when I can wake up, haha). I didn't sell many cards but I did get my name (and face) into the community. The pre-teen girls liked my miniature cards.  I have a possible opportunity with a fellow business woman. I'm not sure what her business was since I couldn't leave my booth unattended. I was the only one watching it the entire time.
After the Expo, I went home and unloaded my car. I bribed the neighbor girls (downstairs) with candy that I had left over from the Expo. I had my arms full of stuff and couldn't open the doorway to my staircase. So Karen got bribed. Then, of course, Brenda HAD to have candy too. Haha. Kids...
I proceeded to take a 3 hour nap this afternoon. It was HEAVENLY. I needed a nap pretty bad. I could use another one at this point. Haha.
After my nap, I cleaned myself up somewhat. I went to a friend's baby shower. I went to support her which says something. I was hoping I'd be less comatose at it but I was not mentally there anyway. It was good seeing her. I haven't seen her much since she moved to TX over a year ago. I saw her husband Joey later. He is still the same. Haha, imagine that. I made April a birthday card that practically screamed "this is for april". Haha. She laughed like I imagined...of course. 
From the baby shower, I went home and picked up one of my older neighbors. Ines' car is malfunctioning somehow. I had offered to take her to two of her workplaces tonight. I have already taken her to one. I'm sitting at Hardee's using their wi-fi signal and typing this out. I'm waiting on her to finish that job and then I'll pick her up and take her to the last job of the night. She will finish the last job around 3am. It is up to her to find a way home (taxi, etc) from that job. I'm tired and it would not be safe for me to drive at 3am. It has been a long day for me. I have been on the go most of the day. I'll be ready to collapse and go to bed once I get home from dropping off Ines for the last time.
One of my friends from "back home" got married tonight. It was out of town so I was unable to attend it. I had a previous commitment to the Ladies Home Business Expo by the time she told me about it. I sent her a wedding card however. This is her 3rd marriage, so it's not like I was missing anything I haven't attended before, haha.
There was also a Health Expo at a local Holliday Inn during the hours of the Expo I attended this morning. I obviously was unable to attend both of them. Oh well. Today, everyone decided to schedule something...if anything at all. Haha. A married couple I know had their 6th anniversary as well. They live in Africa though...so I definitely didn't see them or contact them. Haha.
Well, I think I'm done typing now. This is all October 23rd, 2010 news. Wow, huh? Are YOU tired yet? I know I am.
