I fell in love with my fellow blooper (poem)

02/28/2010

Picture the ocean, surf and clam chowder
We met early, I forgot the flowers
Streets were bustling, hustling their heart out
You can't have the sweet with no sour

I fell in love with my fellow blooper
I wanted to protect and support her
Never mind I'm 19 and a loser
I had dreams beyond my disorder.

And after school we talked late night sessons
I did my best to make last the seconds
that did the opposite that's what I'm guessing
I better chill and count my own blessings

Nadia, Nadia what is the matter
How come you didn't answer my chatter
So we can be like there's no tomorrow
Damn you gonna make me wait til tomorrow

She spoke German and to little Gizmo
She'd stay bright when I was abismal
You were right, I tried to deceieve thee
So one day she never came to meet me

Her beauty the legend of stories older
Insight like the angel purched on my shoulder
Why was it I just used to scold her
All I ever wanted was just to hold her.

Nadia, Nadia I'm in Seattle
Life is hard, but not so much to handle
You'd like the parks and Port Townsend
I would say you're working too hard again.

Damn you messenger, Damn you the ceiling
Whose walls hid the depth of my feeling
Damn you endorphins so good at blinding
Damn you feelings, for persevering
