Plans For a Youthful Event
Question of the Day: Is it easy for you to make quick but vital decisions on the go?

TUESDAY
1st July 2014, 8.23 PM.

Hello, reader! What's up?

[The sky, duh!]

Knock it off, Star. Go get some cotton candy.

[Did you just say COTTON CANDY?!]

Yep, there she goes. Anyway, Admiral Squirrel here, reporting for duty! ((Let's get the greeting over with, already...)) [I completely agree.]

I've been thinking about my typical teenage social problems lately. Of course, I've been discussing them with my parents as well. My father thinks that the main reason could be the fact that I am a prefect, despite being a new student. That's not really the problem but there's a possiblity that it could have something to do with my problems as well. So, as soon as school re-opened, I walked up to Mr Bluebell (discipline master and my ICT teacher) as soon as I could and told him that I wanted to give the badge back. He was quite shocked at the sudden revelation but agreed to talk about it after school. However, he got caught in a meeting after school and I couldn't reach him so it got postponed to today.

I had everything planned out. I would insist on giving back the badge and then pull out the "you can talk to my father" card as a last resort. Of course, nothing ever goes as expected. Instead of walking out of the room with the large weight of responsiblity off my shoulders, I ended up talking to Mr Bluebell about a bunch of stuff that had been taking up my mind lately; the kind of stuff meant for counsellors. Damn it...I'm such a chicken...

[To be perfectly honest, you didn't even know what you wanted to do. You were just following your father's advice.]

Yeah, yeah, but still...

On a brighter note, there's gonna be a Youth Day holiday this Monday! There's also going to be a Youth Day celebration this Friday. There's a competition for people with artistic talents and there are three things people can submit: drawings, writings, or poetry. Can you guess what I'm going to submit? Poetry, of course! The theme this year is "Fire in our hearts". I think there's some meaning to that quote. In fact, I already have some ideas for my poem!

In addition to that, there's also going to be nasheed and tilawah competitions, which are basically reciting Arabic verses with tune (its definition is explained more clearly here) and reading the Qur'an respectively. I'm alright with those but I'm more excited about that first competition. Now they're talking! Abric should do this kind of competitions more often!

Also, here's some epic music if you need it. :3

Hope you had an awesome day, everyone.

This is my Journal, where I will pour out my views, opinions, and thoughts. If you don't agree with any of those, well, I cannot tell you what to do but I ask you to please be polite when commenting. Thank you and have a nice day. :3
