A Rant, A Book, And A Shock (Plus Another Super-Long Entry)!

Well! Morning, everyone! ^^ I had a good breakfast. Did you?

I've got something to type about. Yesterday night, I thought I would give the chatroom at KidzWorld another shot. I entered and, as usual, everybody ignored my greeting. But I stuck it out (like frog had advised me to do). Eventually, someone would say, "Anybody want to chat?" It happens once in a while. Each time somebody said that, I immediately took the chance. I said, "ME ME ME". :3 Anyway, I found out that there was a person who was the same age as me with the same hobbies as me! Her username was HelloKittySwag1. Unfortunately, I was still too shy to ask her what she reads and writes. Oh well. At least I added her as a friend. Oh yeah! There was also this newbie called Jazzy21200 (I think). She was feeling the same as I had felt 'cause she was ignored too. Except she admitted how she felt. I tried to tell her frog's advice on meeting new people but I was too slow and by the time I sent it, she had left the chatroom. *Derpface*

For the first time since I registered here, I have something to rant about! LOL, I don't know if I should be happy about that or not. Well, school's coming soon but my schoolbooks ain't wrapped up yet. By wrapping up, I don't mean wrapping them up like birthday presents. My mother usually wraps them up in plastic. Well, actually, she only wraps up the textbooks. Anyway! My brother has to do his by himself this year. BUT I HAVE TO TOO! D: It's not fair, 'cause when my brother was Primary 5, he didn't have to do his on his own. Well, basically, our mom did it for him. I have absolutely no idea how to do it!! But I think my mom probably will help me 'cause it's gonna be my first time doing it on my own.

I had another shock yesterday. I've checked who the staff was at Who's Staff? earlier. After typing my latest entry, which is "A Promise", I felt bored and decided to see who was online for fun. Imagine my shock when I saw that...wait for it...THE ADMINISTRATOR WAS ONLINE!!!!!! STEVE!!!!!!!!!! :O I was like, OMG!! And I immediately began to download my diary. Actually, I had already downloaded it but that was BEFORE I wrote the previous two entries. And all the time I was like, HURRY HURRY HURRY OH MY GOD!!!! And I was soo relieved when I finally finished the downloading and extracting. I'm worried, though, 'cause my WinRAR is only a 40-day trial. What if the trial finishes??? What if..what if....oh wait, there are other file openers, right? Phew!

And I just wanted to say that the book I'm currently reading is The Glass Forest by Andrew Peters. I don't know if it's a sequel or prequel to Ravenwood..actually, I don't even know what "sequel" or "prequel" mean. But anyway, it definitely is a continuation of Ravenwood. I LOVE it! It's awesome! Is a good story! It's my first time reading it, though. I have so many books in my Novel Collection, there are some I haven't read yet. But here's what I think The Glass Forest is about (should be easy to guess since it's a continuation of Ravenwood ). OK, so there's this small country that lives on the TREES. Everything is wooden. The carpenters and architects in history really knew what they were doing. They worship a Goddess called Diana. But a nearby/faraway empire called Maw wants its precious wood. And it's up to Ark, short for Arktorious Malikum, a plumber's boy to save his home. Eventually, he discovers that he is the son of Corwenna, the daughter of Diana, also known as the Raven-Queen (the Malikums found two babys in a nest in the cold. The second baby was Ark's twin, who died because of fever). He has to sneak into Maw and find out their plans.

Most of that was in Ravenwood, but in the last line, that's The Glass Forest. You know what I think? I suck at summaries. -.-" Once, my English teacher asked me to write a summary on a book I was reading (Second Form at Malory Towers by Enid Blyton). The summary became a short story. -_-

By the way, I told you about the book I was reading 'cause I thought it was "worth mentioning". :3
This is my Journal, where I will pour out my views, opinions, and thoughts. If you don't agree with any of those, well, I cannot tell you what to do but I ask you to please be polite when commenting. Thank you and have a nice day. :3

lol, a prequel is something that comes before (pre- means "before," essentially) and a sequel is something that follows/continues. If there is more books after the sequel, then it's a series instead (which if there's only a few, has a specific name, like trilogy for 3). And, anything you feel like mentioning is worth it, don't get caught up in the silly "I'm not sure if I should talk about this" thing that people do! If you feel like talking about it, go ahead. (:

And LOL of course Steve was on, the whole point of staff is that they're around in case of problems and such. Steve made the site and owns it, so he's around often.

Thanks! I guessed the meaning of those two words but I just wanted to make sure. ^^

Also, the staff don't check entries or profiles? What do they do then?

Not unless they have a reason to. I mean they might look at random posts just like any other user, but they don't go checking them for trouble unless someone tells them something is going on that needs attention. Steve and Doc make & maintain the code for the website, do maintenance and such. Steve deals with any administrative things (the domain name, the servers it's hosted on, random things that come up and need a "final word, etc), Doc deals with tech troubles that don't need Steve, and lithium layouts deals with any generic troubles/concerns users have.

But, even if I don't pass the age limit, I'm harmless, right? I mean, I try my best not to offend anybody. But whether I'm harmless or not, would they still delete my diary?

It's possible. It wouldn't be because they want to, it wouldn't be personal against you, but only due to legal reasons.

Aww. Now I REALLY hope they don't read my posts. Well, at least, not my first one or comments about deleting diaries. ^^"
