B-PAST MEETS FUTURE

Please read with caution.**It had been a week since she heard from Robert, she wanted so badly to call or even text him but she was trying to give him the space he needed. Her phone rang, it was Lee. She sighed and answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey I just wanted you to know the kids will be back in 2 days instead of next week like planned."

"O. K. Everything ok?"

"Yeah, Char just wanted to get started on our vacation sooner. We get a bigger discount."

Bina swallowed hard. She missed her kids dearly but Lee only gets them every other summer and holidays. Now he was cutting it short so his new wife could go on a cruise he had planned for them. Slowly Bina ran a shaky hand through her hair and nodded, even though Lee couldn't see her.

"That's fine. I'm ready for them."

"Good. See you in a few days."

She hung up the phone, her eyes welled up with tears. Without another thought she dialed his number. She hoped and prayed he'd pick up. Everything in her wanted to her his voice.

"Hello" he said slowly.

"Hi..." she paused. "I wasn't going to call, but I just got off the phone with Lee" her voice cracked. Bina closed her eyes tight wishing the tears that threatened to flood her would go away.

"I'll be there in a little bit."

"What?"

"I was on my way back. I'm actually just leaving the car rental place. Talk to me till I get there love." His words soothed her, more than she thought was possible.

"You're sure about this love?" Rob asked, pacing back in forth. Bina only nodded. "Is Lee going to be pissed?"

"I don't care. He's moved on, he moved on before our marriage was over."

"Ok. Then let's go get our kids." Sabrina's heart swelled to the point she thought it was going to burst. He had never met Bryan and Justice and here he was, already calling them his. She smiled at him and walked out to the car.

Once they got to town, Bina started shaking slightly. She had avoided seeing Lee for the last six months, her mom or his mom had taken the kids for her. They pulled into McDonald's and went in to wait. Rob got a coffee, sighed a few autographs, and came to sit next to an almost sick looking Bina.

"You ok?"

"No not really. I'm anxious to see my kids and hating to see Lee again."

Instead of saying anything soothing or comforting, Robert grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips. He rubbed his thumb over her knuckles and just stared at her. She glanced out the window, her eyes grew darker.

"They're here."

The four of them walked into the dining room where Bina was already standing. The kids ran to her, she dropped to her knees and took both kids in her arms.

"Momma!" Justice cried, tears on the rim of her eyelashes. Bryan just nuzzled into her neck.

"Oh babies" Sabrina whimpered.

Finally she stood up, facing Lee. He looked the same, shaggy blonde hair, scruffy gotee, and dull blue eyes behind his glasses. He had a navy blue ball cap, blue jeans ripped at the knee, and a plain yellow t-shirt. She took a deep breath and steadied herself. Char was standing behind him, not really saying anything. Rob was beside her, his hand holding hers.

"Mom," Bryan said slowly. His bright blue eyes looking from her to Robert.

"Yes baby?"

"Why is Edward Cullen here?"

Bina could help but laugh, a nice long belly laugh. To he'll with Lee and his cheating ways. She has her two beautiful children and Robert. She continued to laugh as Lee looked at her, expecting an explanation. She just shook her head and walked the kids out. It was time to go home. With all of her loves. Thank you for reading.
