Strike
"Ugh" Bina tossed her head back. "I hate the doctors" she groaned.
"Yeah, well we hate seeing you sick."
Bina stuck her tongue out at Rob as he drove while she looked out the window. The rest of the drive was in silence. Bina wasn't mad that she had to go to to the doctors, she was just scared. I mean, you always hear "this could never happen to me", but then it does and people are so stunned. She knew unthinkable things could happen, she just didn't want to face them. Rob pulled into a parking spot and got out, opening her door before she could.
"I'm sick, not crippled!" she shouted then took a deep breath when Rob dropped his hands to his side. "I'm sorry..." her bottom lip quivered.
"Let's just go see what he has to say."

Thressa and Johnny took Bryan and Justice home and waited for the two to arrive. Finally, a couple hours later, they came in the door. Bryan and Justice were playing not so quietly in their room and didn't even notice. Thressa looked at Bina with that "so?" look on her face. She sat down in the rocking chair across the room.
"My regular doctor wasn't in so I had to see the other guy... He said it could be a lot of things but he's leaning towards an ovarian cyst and wants me to have an ultra sound."
"Oh God..." Thressa said, looking at Johnny. Rob hadn't entered the room yet.
"He said it's probably not serious but they want to check all angles and make sure."
"Good!"
"I go tomorrow morning for the ultra sound. I would of had it done today but there was no room.."
"I'm going with you." Thressa said matter of factly.
"Good... I don't know how Rob is fairing out... He hasn't said a word to me since we left the doctors office." On that, Johnny stood up and walked over to Bina and kissed the top of her head.
"I'm gonna go talk to him, kid. Hang in there, we love ya"
Johnny walked out to the kitchen to see Rob pacing back and forth, more pale than usual. He tilted his head towards the door, walking out and Rob followed close behind. They walked to the garage in silence and sat for a while in silence until Johnny took out a packed bowl and lit it up. He took a puff and passed it to Rob. He shook his head.
"You need this man"
"I'm not going to do her any good if I'm high."
"Dude, you're not doing her any good like this either...."
Rob nodded and took the pipe, taking a nice long hit.

Rob felt more relaxed walking into the house. The kids were in bed and Bina was sitting on the couch, reading a book. He walked passed her, then stood in the hall way and pressed his head on the wall.
"You ok baby?" Bina looked up and put the book down.
"I don't know..." Bina got up and crossed the room to him. Aburptly he grabbed her wrist and pressed her against the wall.
He pinned her hands above her head and kissed her roughly. Her body responded in the natural way, she kissed him back hard. She pressed back into his chest. Slowly he released his grip and rested his forehead on hers.
"I love you... I'm scared..." he looked like he wanted to say more but couldn't.
"Hey, it's ok. I love you too and I'm not going anywhere... I'm too stubborn" she smirked.
"No wonder I love you" he chuckled.

Rob, Johnny, and Thressa were sitting in the waiting room... Bina had been in the back for over an hour which is rare for a simply ultra sound. Rob and Johnny took turns pacing while Thressa just sat there, looking off into space. Finally Bina rounded the corner, no real look on her face.
"What'd they say?" Thressa blurted and stood up.
"I want to get home before we talk about anything... Just because"
Johnny drove, faster than usual. His heart was pounding and he prayed the whole way home it wasn't serious. Every once in a while he'd look in the review mirror and see Bina's face. Sometimes smooth and sometimes scruntched up. Once they pulled into the drive way, Bina was the first to get out and walked in the living room, waiting for everyone else.
"Ok... everyone sit"
"Oh God" Thressa groaned. "Just fucking tell us!"
"Sit down please"
"Fine" she growled, feeling angry at the situation.
"The main reason I wanted to wait until we got home because I had to think of a way to tell you guys... And because I'm still slightly in shock" she took a deep breath "So they said either I have ovarian cysts with heart beats or I'm pregnant..."
Everyone gasped and just looked at her.
