River is full

Okay, so I didn't much feel like writing yesterday. I was at work, and David and his momma came in. Apparently he was able to get into the dentist yesterday. Ended up having 2 teeth pulled. Not just 1. And men are such big babies. And David is a really big baby when he ain't feeling good and considering he had 2 teeth pulled.....yeah you get the picture.

And TODAY is his birthday. Which is bad. And the reason it's bad is cause we don't have a penny to our name, so I have NOTHING for him. No cake, no icecream, no birthday card, no present. Nothing! And to be honest, I just want to cry. I can't give my husband anything. I've asked his momma and my momma for just 20 bucks, just so I could get him something, and me pay them back on Friday....

Yeah, I feel like the world's shittiest wife ever today.

I am a new reader, but if I understand this correctly your husband isn't currently working? Which makes you the main bread winner for the family? Which means you provide a home for you, your husband, and the children you have between the two of you? If you don't have anything left over to buy something for your husband on his birthday I wouldn't feel to bad. You are doing what you have to do to take care of your family and you can always buy him a present later when you have the money to do so. Don't beat yourself up! You can also give him a present that doesn't cost a penny.
