今天我上班,[中午不要吃豆腐!]
Ok, so, due to the hotel's desperate attempts to wrangle money out of me (sure sure, the company) I have no internets except for in the office, which is actually better because the office is on a secured network: ergo no hackers or keystroke monitors *paranoid much* Office is slightly boring, I've been helping Claire to reformat photo presentations for mineral sampling *hooray!* and enjoyed filling out a spreadsheet to prove that it was the Russian side who lost a load of bags *huzzah!* I say bags, but they each weigh around 500mt, so they're more like, Santa's sack... really. *hem*
Either way the fact of the matter is Mr Tech here (keep missing his name, sweet guy though) has been rooting for adapters and ethernet-multi-packs all day, firstly because I forgot my own Brit->Chinese adpater *spoon* and secondly because I keep getting moved around. I was quite happy perching on the end of Claire's desk like a toupee on a bald man's head, but the manager comandeered the pregnant girl's desk for me. .. .. That sounds really bad, I should probably clarify that the pregnant girl is on maternity leave, I didn't kick her off her own desk... That'd be immoral. Even too immoral for me. The email sent around failed to mention maternity leave anyway, it just said she'd left to ”begin lactating". Failed translation attempts make life worth living ^^
Claire and her friends dragged me to a Chinese cafe (exciting) for real Chinese food, seeing as Peter refuses to go anywhere that doesn't do a pizza alternative. It was really nice, though they seemed a bit affronted when I said I don't like toufu 豆腐, but come on, it's basically mushy, slimey beans *bleh* I had fish balls instead ^^ I've also found that when it comes to social vocab I actually have to help Claire out with English words -〉 This has got to be good practice ^^
Still very confused on the hunger front - I spent 4 hours awake last night thinking my stomach was so full from the evening meal, but at the same time it was rumbling as if it where hungry

I understand not. I'm going to have a walk around this evening and check out the huge French-aristocrat bridge near the hotel, then maybe I shall (finally) take soome photos *bounce*
